Founded in 2003 by three Directors, Chiel Construction Ltd has established itself as a leader in the Construction Industry with a commitment to a proactive and client-focused approach. The company specialises in Educational, Healthcare, Industrial & Industrial, Community & Leisure, Hospitality, Retail and Heritage Projects, successfully cultivating a robust portfolio that includes esteemed blue-chip clients. Our project values range from £0 to £10 million.

In 2005, Chiel Construction became a Framework Contractor for The University of Warwick, a relationship that has since continued to thrive.​
In 2020, we expanded our partnerships by securing Framework Contractor status with the University of Birmingham, further solidifying our reputation in the sector.

Despite recent economic challenges, Chiel Construction has maintained a trajectory of success. We have consistently delivered high-quality projects while increasing our workforce both on-site and in the office.​
As we look ahead to the year ahead, we remain committed to the ongoing training and development of our staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth, whilst continuing to reinforce the ‘can do’ ethos that has driven our success.

Our Directors
The experience, passion, and commitment of our Directors have played a key role in the development and growth of Chiel Construction Ltd. Collectively, they bring over 75 years of construction industry expertise across a wide range of disciplines. Their dedication to professionalism and integrity ensures that every project is delivered to the high standards for which Chiel is known.

Two of our Directors also hold NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK) qualifications, reinforcing our strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety across all operations.
Martin Rush
Managing Director
Martin co-founded Chiel in 2003 and has overseen its growth from a turnover of £34,000 to £6 million. Through his strong partnership with Dale, hands-on leadership, and commitment to developing talent from within, he continues to drive the company’s success. Martin is a motivated leader with excellent communication skills, building lasting relationships with customers and suppliers alike.
Dale Wright
Contracts Director
Dale is a founding member of Chiel and, alongside Martin, has played a key role in shaping the company into what it is today. His extensive knowledge of the construction industry enables him to tackle challenges effectively. Dale oversees site operations, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. A natural leader, he motivates the team to consistently achieve positive outcomes.
Josh Randle
Projects Director
Josh, our Projects Director at Chiel. Starting as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor and moving up to Project Manager, he brings a fresh viewpoint to every project. His mix of experience helps him make smart choices that keep things moving, even under pressure. Known for his great communication skills and genuine approach, Josh builds strong connections with clients and suppliers, making him a valuable part of our team.

Andy, a dedicated professional who has climbed the ranks at Chiel, beginning his journey as an Apprentice Carpenter. With a passion for health and safety, he has embraced technological innovations to improve processes and boost efficiency. serving as Projects Director, Andy is known for his exceptional skills and his commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time, making him a trusted partner for clients.
