November 2016. CareTech Community Services – Stage 5 West Park Adaptations. Value: £30,500

Working with a client we have a solid working relationship with, we are currently working on the Stage 5 West Park Adaptations for CareTech. We are converting a staff kitchen and communal area to a self contained assisted living unit incorporating a new mini kitchen and level access shower room.

July 2016. University of Warwick – Cryfield Residences. Value: £1,200,000

A contract you can view photographs of in our Gallery is the refurbishment and redecoration of Cryfield Residences for the University of Warwick. We completed this project in October 2016 after removing and installing new carpets throughout the building, replacing all existing kitchens and the complete redecoration of all bedrooms, kitchens & communal areas.

May 2016. De Montfort University – Beaumont Town FC. Value: £480,000

Another large project we worked on in 2016 was an extension to the existing clubhouse to form new changing rooms, showers, toilets and associated drainage and external works for De Montfort University. Another project that we completed in October 2016 and we look forward to working alongside the university in 2017.

March 2016. Cromwell Residential – Phoenix House Student Accommodation. Value: £1,250,000

We have recently completed the contract for the £1,250,000 conversion of the Phoenix House building in Wolverhampton, to form student accommodation for Cromwell Residential. This project involved the complete refurbishment of the existing derelict warehouse, to create 5 floors of student accommodation with 89 bedrooms and associated facilities. January 2016. University of Warwick – Monoliths Installation. Value: £188,000

One of the many projects we have worked on for the University of Warwick is the installation of a number of large monoliths around the university campus. From laying the initial foundations and trenching, to delivering and installing the new monoliths to various locations around the university, Chiel Construction continue to cement their relationship with the University of Warwick.

January 2016. Aston Martin – Vehicle Ramp to Access Design Studio. Value: £5,600

A smaller project we completed in 2016 was for Aston Martin to create and install a new concrete access ramp to their design studio. Work began in January and was completed in just two weeks by four of our outstanding operatives.

December 2015. TATA ELXSI – New Experience Centre. Value: £87,000

Work began back in January 2016 by Chiel Construction, to create a new experience centre within the International Digital Laboratory building on the main campus of the University of Warwick. The centre will include a specialist room for audio/visual displays and presentations. The project comprises of the removal of the original suspended ceiling and replacing it with a plasterboard ceiling, the installation of feature walls and air conditioning, plus specialist AV equipment and lighting.

October 2015. Jaguar Landrover – Roof Penetrations. Value £18,000

In September 2015, we won one of many contracts with one of the UK’s most prestigious automotive companies – Jaguar Landrover. Between October and December 2015, Chiel Construction conducted work on forming roof apertures to allow for ventilation in a recently installed Spin Cell. From erecting scaffolding, to constructing concrete upstands and timber covers, we completed the job and continue to work with Jaguar Landrover in 2016.

August 2015. University of Birmingham – Shackleton Hall Show Flat. Value: £31,000

The minor refurbishment of Shackleton Hall show flat for the University of Birmingham took place over August and September 2015. Previously a management office, we removed the existing flooring, ceilings and walls, replacing them with new and up to date installations, plus a mock up kitchen and bathroom.
