Chiel Construction successfully delivered the refurbishment and upgrade works at Kineton Sports & Social Club for Wellan Ltd, transforming the existing facility into a refreshed and functional community space.

Working under a JCT Intermediate Building Contract (2016 Edition), procured via competitive tender, our team undertook a comprehensive programme of renovation and alteration works. The scope included demolition and strip-out, groundworks, masonry repairs, and the installation of linings, sheathing, and dry partitioning. External works such as paving, planting, fencing, and site furniture were also completed, alongside a full internal fit-out, including bathroom upgrades and associated finishes.

As Principal Contractor, Chiel Construction managed all elements of the project, coordinating multiple trades and ensuring the smooth delivery of both structural and finishing works. Careful planning and sequencing were required to integrate new construction elements with the existing building, while maintaining quality standards and programme efficiency throughout.

The project was delivered over a 15-week programme, with a contract value of £85,000. The completed works have revitalised the sports and social club, providing an improved, practical, and welcoming environment for users and supporting its ongoing role as a key local community facility.
